I read with amusement about how the pornography industry in the US is coming out to say that even their business is affected until the extent of needing a government bailout. And the amount of bailout is not exactly a small amount, totaling some US$5 billion! That’s a lot of money to sustain this very niche ”entertainment” industry, don’t you think?
And to make this piece of news on CNN, it really is something, although it is more of a light-hearted piece for amusement rather than a true newsworthy release.
I’m not sure if the industry people are just coming out to get some attention or they are really preparing themselves for a rainy day ahead. I don’t think the government would even think twice to listen to this plea for a bailout. If they could afford a $5 billion bailout, it would do a lot of good to bailout the auto industry instead.
