So you can imagine my excitement when I saw an ad in today’s papers that there will be a seminar by the great Marketing Guru Philip Kotler in Kuala Lumpur at the end of this month!

The seminar is called Marketing In Turbulent Times: Discovering Opportunities in a Recession with Chaotics Management System. This seminar is also in line with his new book titled Chaotics. I hope to attend this seminar to learn a few things and also to meet in Philip Kotler in person for the first time.
This half day Marketing In Turbulent Times seminar costs RM1,300 per person. The date and venue of this seminar are as follows:

Time: 8.30am – 12.30pm
Venue: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
There are 2 ways in which you can get discounts for this seminar.
1. If you are a Direct Access credit card holder, you can enjoy a buy 1 get 1 free seat. It will then work out to only RM650 per seat.
2. If you are a MPH cardmember, you can enjoy a 10% discount on the full price of the seat.
If you have both memberships mentioned above, you can only use either one to qualify for the benefits. My guess is that you will go for the buy 1 get 1 free because it makes more economical sense. You just need to find a partner to go with you.
