How much more are you paying for electricity after the price hike?

by Penny on June 12, 2008

Besides the price of petrol going up, our electricity rate is also going up. But do you know how much exactly it’s going to affect you? I bet you can’t really guess, even a ballpark figure, because most of us don’t really pay attention how we’re charged by usage.

Here’s a calculator to help you get an estimate on how much more you’ll be paying. Now just go and grab an existing electricity bill of yours and enter the current amount you’re charging up a month, and let the calculator do its magic and show you the new rate you can expect to pay.

Click to download the calculator.

If you missed the calculator to see how much more you’re paying for petrol, get it here.
