New Zealand dollar is dropping

Just when I was about to start a foreign currency deposit account in New Zealand dollars, I read in the papers today that the currency has depreciated against the Yen. This will mean that the interest I get to earn will be lower. I’m holding my brakes now…I don’t want to make an impulsive entry only to be disappointed.
