Normally I would agree with you that spending RM1000 just to achieve a tax exemption of RM100 is not economically sound. However I am an avid reader and spending my money on books is both justifiable and also in my view an investment in myself. The tax exemption I'll receive is just an added bonus. LOL. I was planning to get a laptop actually, but after calculating...it's not worth it at all. Because this is not a rebate, unlike few years ago.
