Time to shop!

by Penny on March 11, 2008

Since the election our market has come tumbling down. Our composite index dropped by 100++ points, almost a 10% drop. This triggered the suspension of trading for an hour yesterday.

I’ve been watching a particular ETF and the price has come down quite substantially. The questions is, should I wait some more or is this the time to enter? If I go according to the rule of cost-averaging-investment, I should be going in now and not bothering with finding the lowest entry point. But humans err, don’t they?
