Last week I received a Personal Budget Planner that’s designed in Microsoft Excel format. It’s very thorough and easy to use. All you need to do is fill up the information regarding your income and expenses and all the analysis are done for you. Graphs automatically appear as you fill up the cells in the spreadsheet and I find this to be a very valuable tool because I’m a visual person. The graphs straight away tell me a story about my financial position.
Here are two screenshots I captured just to show you how it works and what it looks like. There are lots more graphical analysis but I’ll just show some basic ones.
You can do a lot with this planner. It allows you to do month by month budgeting and record your actual against them as a tracking tool on your expenses. A comparison chart is automatically generated based on your input.
You can also choose to keep a record of your daily spending (this is a real pain but if you’re the diligent type who wants to know where your every dollar goes to, this will be very helpful).
I may not be doing a good job in describing or convincing you how great this budgeting tool is, so I’m providing a download of the file here so that you can check it out for yourself and use it to your benefit.
To download, right click on the link provided below and choose “Save target as”. Save the file to your computer and have fun budgeting. I would like to thank whoever created this piece of great work. It’s definitely highly appreciated!
